The French Mistake

A little delayed on our part, but this weeks episode we find the boys in an alternate universe thanks to an all out blitz on, well, everyone, by Raphael, Balthazar (who is epic by the way) sends the boys into a universe where their life is a television show called 'Supernatural' and they're actors names Jared Padalecki (What's a Jared Padalecki?) and Jensen Ackles, Castiel is an actor named Misha Collins who is addicted to twitter... (By the way, please follow and become a Misha Minion @mishacollins) and Sam, or that Jared Pada--lecki? thing is married to.... Ruby.... Genevieve Courtese.

Now, I had a tense discussion with my co-writer of this blog on how this episode was going to go, A) because I'm not a fan of Ruby, like all of us.. but I'm even less of a fan of Genevieve Courtese. (Sorry, I know. Bitchy on my end. Don't judge me. I just can't ever seem to like the work she does. I'm sure she's a wonderful person....) and B) most shows who dive into the alternate universe where they play themselves in the show that they're in... also known as the "Show Within a Show" never ever works out and just turns out bad. I'll have you know, no spoilers here, but this was a very well thought out episode, (minus the like 3 scenes Genevieve was in... *cough* sorry.) and Ben Edlund did an epic job at directing this, as usual. The humor and the story line worked well together, it was on track, didn't steer from the general plot of the season and still managed to keep the amazing comedy and didn't take the real Jensen and Jared's life into the story, which was one of my fears.

Anyway, enough for this episode.  and we'll see ya'll next week! Visit the After Episode Interrogation page for random ass questions about tonight's episode!'

AND by the way, the first person to send us a recreation of that painting of Sam in his Jared Padalecki home will get.... special mention? :)

Unforgiven

This week's episode, after Sam coming back with no memory of what went on that year he was gone... Well, kind of... Thanks Cas... :P, Sam and Dean visit this little town after Sam gets a text with the coordinates (how old school!) and Dean finds out from the towns people that Sam did some not too nice things while he lived there. Of course we all know little, okay, not-so-little soulless Sam had no moral compass whatsoever so we can only imagine what he did. Either way, like always, definitely looking forward to this weeks episode. :) Go on and check the Twitterverse to see what the SPN fans are saying about tonight's episode! And while you're there, follow us @spnllyawesome

Like A Virgin

We're back! After a good long hiatus we will finally be able to join the rest of the fandoms out there and get the new episodes of the season. After the CW pulled the new episode last week to replay Nikita and Vampire Diaries because of their fears of severe dips in ratings, against American Idol (?) at the very last minute, we definitely saw the uproar that SPN (and Smallville) fans are capable of. But not to fear fans, we're back this week with a brand spankin' new episode.

This week we come back in with heightened tone to the show, waiting to see how Sam has turned out after Death (Julian Richings) returns his soul back to his body. With all the rumors/theories of what could happen to Sam with a torn up soul, we're all definitely at the edge of our seats wondering and waiting to see how it will all play out. Looking at the bigger picture, this episode follow Dean and Bobby looking into the disappearance of... virgins. Yep. Virgins. We all know how Dean must feel with this one. ;) We find out that dragons are the ones culpable, yes, dragons. Good news, we'll all find out how to kill one. Though Dean's gonna run into the owner of the weapon and will have to fight and, "prove himself worthy enough to take it." I wonder what that test will be like.

Enjoy! and visit the link below to IMDB.com to look at the plot summary and episode promo pics. :)
